Hold Times

We understand the importance of meeting EPA hold times for Quality Assurance purposes and for your decision making process for followup analyses.  Here are the hold times for semivolitile analytes such as pesticides:
  • Water - 7 days
  • Soil - 14 days

Sample Size

The amount of sample we need depends on the type and number of analyses.  Here are some general guidelines:

WATER samples should be collected in 1 liter amber glass bottles
SOIL samples should be in 8 ounce jars, soil bags, or zip lock bags

Submitting Samples

We suggest shipping overnight or hand delivering when possible.  It is very important to keep environmental samples cold.  Let us know if you would like us to send you a shipping kit with gel coolant.  Please fill out a Chain of Custody form to send with the sample(s).  Include your contact info, sample ID, date sampled, the requested analyses, and sign/date the bottom.

Turnaround Time

Our regular turnaround time is 7 to 10 business days.  Rush analysis may be available with prior arrangement and an up-charge.
